Nora Boxer

Nora Boxer is a poet, fiction writer, and sometimes-visual artist. She is a recipient
of the Keene Prize for Literature and a Writer’s Travel Scholarship—a free plane
ticket to write in any destination in the world. As a writer/artist in residence at the

A long-time student of awareness practices, she has been a resident at Green Gulch Farm Zen Center, and studied creative writing from a shamanic perspective with Martín Prechtel. Currently Nora is working on an art installation about global ancestral pathways. Prior to these workshops, she’ll be spending time at Art Monastery’s Vermont location this fall.
